Morning walk: A rewarding experience

Good morning!
It has been quite sometime since yours truly wrote anything. The nature of his job demands him to spend hours on end at the computer, so staying away from the machine is a welcome respite for him.
This does not mean he does not enjoy writing. But one has to maintain work-life balance and one of the ways to do so, yours truly has found out, is to stay away from the machine, turn offline, leave it all behind and go out for a walk around the countryside.
Of course, walking may be good for health, but how good it is always contestable, especially in view of increasing pollution here, there, everywhere? One can discuss about this issue for hours without coming to any conclusion. That can give you some topic to write home about. But that is also one more way to remain a couch potato. Stretching limbs can be a good exercise even for couch potatoes.
There are other options too. One of them is to leave it all behind and go for a walk.
It's not that I have not seen disturbing scenes during my morning walks around town. Burning non-degradables is one of the worst scenes. Spitting is another. Walking your pet and allowing it to defecate in front of your neighbour's gate is another. Honking horns is another. The list can go on.......

But walking around gives you the opportunity to meet with people. No social media interaction can be an alternative for human interaction.
Yours truly has found other beautiful reasons why should go for a walk.
Hope you like them too.
